The Uncooked Crab has arrived from Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. Metal sculptor Chase Allen is a self-taught artist who creates these beautiful two dimensional weathered and worn looking fish. The metal crab has been carefully oxidized, hand-forged, welded and shaped using traditional and self-taught methods and handmade tools. The sculpture was then layered with rustic color using a process that has taken years to develop. Each handmade piece is signed, numbered and dated. The crab comes wrapped in white butcher paper, includes tips on how to display your piece of art and an artist statement.
